What You’ll Need to Make the Tart Beet Berry Smoothie:

Fruit: This smoothie contains frozen berries (blackberries, raspberries, or blueberries), frozen banana, and 2 dates. These fruits give the smoothie a sweet flavor. Be sure to remove the pits from the dates prior to blending.

Veggies: This smoothie contains frozen riced cauliflower and frozen beets. The beets give this smoothie a fun, pink color and add a sweet flavor. The cauliflower adds bulk to the smoothie without adding any flavor.

Chia Seeds: Chia seeds are packed with nutrients and an excellent source of fiber.

Liquid: The juice of a lime and coconut water are used to blend the smoothie together. These liquids give the smoothie a tart, but sweet flavor.

Directions:

  1. Remove pits from dates.
  2. Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth.
