How To Brew Kombucha

Kombucha is great. Itโ€™s a lighter caffeine alternative to have in the morning. Or a refreshing carbonated drink to have during the day with the perfect level of sweetness. I even like using it as a cocktailย  mixer. It is fizzy and delicious and contains probiotics with provide beneficial bacteria to support your gut microbiome. I love drinking kombucha, but I donโ€™t love the cost. Iโ€™ve seen kombucha sold anywhere from $3 to $7 per bottle. If youโ€™re drinking a bottle of kombucha everyday, this adds up quick. I started brewing my kombucha as a cheaper method of obtaining kombucha- itโ€™s also pretty easy to make. The majority of the process includes just letting the mixture sit and ferment.

Carrot Turmeric Smoothie Bowl

Happy Friday!! One of my favorite carrot turmeric smoothie bowls pictured here ๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿฅ• Woke up early this morning and tried a Yoga Sculpt class and loved it! I donโ€™t personally do yoga, but am trying to incorporate it into my weekly routine because I keep hearing of all its awesome benefits. I went to the studio this morning to sign up for class and they asked me if I wanted to do a regular vinyasa or a yoga sculpt (aka cardio + weights). I went for the yoga sculpt because that is so much more up my alley. Iโ€™m not sure what happened- we did burpees and squats and yoga and it was so much fun. Iโ€™ve never been to a yoga class like that and it put me in sucha good mood. Hope everyoneโ€™s Friday is off to a great start!

Carrot Cake Smoothie Bowl ๐Ÿฅ•

Carrot cake smoothie bowl! I think this is my new favorite smoothie bowl. Had this for lunch today and I donโ€™t even feel guilty about eating this โ€œtreatโ€ because itโ€™s primarily made of veggies, but still tastes sweet.
