Ingredients in Nutella Smoothie:

Banana: Frozen banana is a key ingredient in this recipe. I recommend freezing the banana instead of using a raw banana. Frozen banana will give this smoothie the texture and taste of ice cream.

Frozen Riced Cauliflower: Frozen riced cauliflower is one of my favorite smoothie additions. It adds bulk to the smoothie and gives it a creamy texture without adding flavor.

Almond Milk: Use store bought unsweetened almond milk or make your own almond milk. You can substitute the almond milk with any unsweetened milk of your choice.

Hazelnuts: Hazelnuts give this smoothie that nutella flavor. They are also loaded with nutrients!

Cacao Powder: Cacao powder gives this smoothie its chocolate flavor. Cacao powder tastes bitter by itself, but the sweetness of the banana will balance it out. Dates can be added to further sweeten this recipe if desired.

Cinnamon: Cinnamon adds a nice, sweet flavor to this smoothie.

Cacao Nibs (optional topping): Cacao nibs add a crunchy topping to this smoothie. This topping is an optional add.

Dates: (optional) Dates can be added to this smoothie to give it extra sweetness. Just make sure to remove the pits from the dates prior to blending.

How to Make Nutella Smoothie:

Starting with 1 cup of nut milk, add all the ingredients into a blender except for the toppings. Add more nut milk as needed to blend and get the right consistency. Top with toppings (optional).
