If you’ve been following my page, you know that I’ve been posting healthier Halloween treats for awhile now. I love Halloween! It is one of my favorite holidays. Given the climate of COVID this year, many of us may be celebrating Halloween in our own homes and maybe making our own Halloween treats. In this post I share some better ingredients that can be used to make Halloween candy. I will also share some healthier Halloween candy recipes that taste delicious, but are also super easy to make!
- Lily’s Chocolate: Lily’s chocolate contains no added sugar. It is sweetened with stevia, which is a sugar-free sweetener. I think that this chocolate tastes less sweet that traditional chocolate. My favorite Lilys chocolate is their dark chocolate chips because they are gluten free and dairy free. This brand makes a variety of chocolate products and treats that are all sweetened with stevia. You can find Lilys chocolate at Whole Foods.
- Enjoy Life Chocolate: I love Enjoy Life chocolate because they are vegan and made with simple ingredients. They are sweetened with cane sugar and taste just as sweet as typical chocolate. You can find Enjoy Life at Whole Foods and Wegmans.
- Monkfruit Sweetener: Monkfruit sweetener is a sugar free sweetener. It’s similar to stevia, but I personally like the taste of it more than stevia. You can find monkfruit sweetener at Whole Foods.
