What You’ll Need to Make the Creamy Avocado Pesto:
Fresh Basil: You, of course, can’t make a pesto sauce without fresh basil!
Avocado: An avocado is used in place of pine nuts in this recipe.
Lemon Juice: The lemon juice gives the pesto a refreshing citrus flavor.
Olive Oil: Olive oil is used to blend the pesto together.
Other: Garlic, salt, and pepper give the pesto sauce a delicious flavor.
Place all of the ingredients in a food processor and blend, scraping the sides of the food processor repeatedly until a pesto consistency is formed.

- Food Processor
- 1 cup Firmly Packed Basil
- 1/2 Avocado ripe
- 1/4 Lemon juice
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- Salt, Pepper to taste
