The main ingredients in this smoothie bowl are frozen bananas and frozen riced cauliflower. Frozen bananas taste amazing in smoothies! They add the perfect amount of sweetness and really make the smoothie taste like ice cream. I definitely recommend freezing banana slices vs. adding raw bananas and ice. Frozen bananas give the smoothie bowl a much better flavor and consistency. The frozen riced cauliflower gives the smoothie a creamy texture without adding any flavor! That’s right, you get all of the benefits of eating this cruciferous veggie, without even tasting it. Frozen riced cauliflower makes the smoothie thick and creamy, giving it the perfect consistency.
The cacao powder is responsible for the chocolately flavor of this smoothie bowl. Let’s get one thing straight- cacao is not the same as cocoa. While cacao and cocoa both come from the same place, the way they are processed impacts their nutritional content. Cacao products are generally less processed and a healthier alternative to cocoa. Cacao powder has a rich chocolatey taste but is full of minerals and can have antioxidant effects. Cinnamon to taste
About 1 1/2 cups almond milk or add until you get the right consistency
